Contact LankaSolve

LankaSolve is an independent site run by one person. The quickest way to reach us is email. If you have found a fee or rule that looks out of date, the request form gets it to us with the page already filled in.

Email

Write to hello@lankasolve.lk. Use it for corrections, questions about a guide or calculator, press enquiries, or anything the form below doesn't cover.

The address is hello@lankasolve.lk, written out in full in case your email app doesn't show the link.

Request form

The request form has four options: report an outdated fee or figure, ask for a new calculator, ask for a topic we don't cover yet, or report something broken on the site. Every guide and calculator also has a "Report an outdated fee" link in its header that opens the form with that page already selected.

When you report a fee, include where you saw the current figure (a department notice, a gazette, a receipt) if you can. That lets us check it against the official source and fix the page faster. How we handle corrections is set out in our editorial policy.

Who replies

Messages go to Afdhel Munaj, who builds and maintains LankaSolve. There is no support team, so replies come as time allows. A report that a fee has changed is acted on as soon as it can be confirmed against the official source, whether or not a reply has gone out.

What we can't help with

LankaSolve is not a government office.

We can't process applications, check the status of a passport, NIC, police clearance or any other application, book appointments, or speak to a department on your behalf. For your own application, contact the department that handles it. The official links section on each guide lists the right office and its contact details.

Please don't send NIC numbers, passport numbers, bank details or copies of documents. We don't need them to correct a page, and we would rather not hold them. What we do collect, and why, is on our privacy page.

We also don't give legal, tax or financial advice. Where a guide touches on something that needs a professional, such as the legal effect of a power of attorney or a tax position, it says so and points you to the right kind of help.
